The FIRST Annual Summer Sunrise 5k (legacy of the June Moon) Saturday June 16th 8:30 AM. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! About the Summer Sunrise 5k: The Sumer Sunrise 5k used to be the June Moon. The ONLY things that have changed are the time and date. Located in scenic Colonial Park in Somerset, this race is a flat, scenic, out and around loop. Lots of parking and post race goodies.
NOTE: Colonial Park will be closed to traffic at 8:15 AM for the race. The race location will be inaccessible at that time. Please factor that in as you plan your trip and parking.
LOCATION: Colonial Park, 550 Elizabeth Ave, Franklin, NJ
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Take Exit 12 from Interstate 287 and turn left onto Weston Canal Road. At first stoplight, turn left onto Cottontail Lane and continue to T-intersection with School House Road. Turn left on School House and go to intersection with Elizabeth Avenue. Turn right on Elizabeth; proceed to park.
From New Brunswick, take Hamilton Street (Amwell Road) to Elizabeth Avenue and turn right; Colonial Park is 9/10 mile on the left.

June Moon/Summer Sunrise 5k Course Map
35th NOT QUITE FALL CLASSIC 4 MILE: Sunday August 26th at 8:30 AM About the Not Quite Fall Classic 4 Mile: Held on Labor Day until 2009, this race is now on the last Sunday in August! It gets hot in August, so the race is held early, 8:30 AM. The course was recently changed to follow the Firecracker 4 Miler path through Nomahegan Park in Cranford. This move from a 5 mile race to a 4 mile race has received much support in the running community. Like the Hangover, this course is fast, flat, SHADY and scenic. Traffic is controlled and water stops and mile splits are available on the course. Ample post-race refreshments await you at the end. Reminder: No Strollers, Skates, or Dogs are allowed in the race as noted in the waiver on both the Race Application and Online Registration websites. Those who choose not to follow these safety procedures will be disqualified from the race.
Registration for the 2012 Not Quite Fall Classic 4 Mile will be in the Summer of 2012. Application links will be activated and Contact Information will be listed at that time.
LOCATION: Nomahegan Park 1034 Springfield Ave Cranford, NJ 07016
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From the GSP North or South: get off at Exit 137. At the bottom of the ramp turn right onto North Avenue. At the 2nd light (from the North the 3rd light) turn right for the beginning of Springfield Ave. Nomahegan Park is to the right and Union County College is to the left at the 3rd light on Springfield Ave. VERY limited parking at Nomahegan. Abundant parking available at Union County College.

CJRRC’s Hangover 5k January 1st 12 noon 2012 was our 30th Annual Hangover 5k! Start your New Year right with our 30th Annual Hangover 5k.
937 Runners lined up at the starting line of the Hangover 5k and the New Year. Pictures coming soon! About the Hangover 5k: Held in Tamaques Park in Westfield, 2012’s Hangover 5k marked our 30th year. The race begins at noon (no need to get up early for this one), and is a fast, flat, scenic loop. The loop is traffic controlled. There are water stops and mile splits. Hot chocolate and bagels will be waiting for you at the end.
Registration for the 2013 Hangover 5k will be in the late Fall of 2012. Application links will be activated and Contact Information will be listed at that time.
